Events
The events are created in the same way as in the event form.
Owner
The owner is the user who created the event draft and is authorised to edit it.
Create event draft
- The starting point is the overview of event drafts in the backend: Events > Event drafts.
- Click on the [+New] button at the top right to open the event design form.
- To create a draft, fill in the form fields via the form and click on Add and overview at the bottom.
- The new event draft is now listed in the overview of event drafts.
Edit event design
Drafts can be edited or deleted.
The Edit and Delete buttons are located in the Actions column.
After creating an event using an event draft, the Actions > Edit and Actions > Delete functions are decoupled from the event itself. This means that changes to the draft used to create the event are not applied to the event.
Creating and publishing an event
Provided that one or more event drafts have already been created.
The starting point is the overview of event designs in the backend: Events > Event designs.
There are two ways to create an event from a draft.
Create the event but do not publish it
Click on Create event in the Actions column.Note: If the event is not published, it is not visible to others and cannot be found in the list of events. If an attempt is made to call up such an event via a direct link, this results in an error: ERROR CODE: "404 NOT FOUND". Note: If a created or created and published event has been deleted, the event originally created as a draft event is available again in the draft events. The event draft can be found again using the "Created" -> "No" filter.
The event can subsequently be published via the corresponding event form in the Classification section.
Create and publish the event
Click on Create and publish event in the Actions column.
