Call up scanner view
Expand Events in the sidebar and click on Validate tickets, Events > Validate tickets. In the Event drop-down menu, the events for which the e-ticket has been configured in the event form are available. Select an event from the drop-down menu for which the e-tickets are to be validated and then click on the Select button.
The scanner view opens. The scanner is initially switched off.
How can I validate an e-ticket?
Tickets can be identified and validated using the QR code scanner built into Campus Events or by manually entering the ticket number.
Check-In/Check-Out settings
Specify whether check-in or check-out of event participants should be registered.
Determination via "Scanner"
Note
A camera is required for the QR code scanner.
The scanner must capture the QR code through the camera in order to be able to carry out the validation.
To switch on the scanner, click on the Start button.
To switch off the scanner, click on the stop button.
A found ticket is checked for its status, if everything is OK, a dialogue window is displayed, via which the process can be cancelled or a check-in can be made.
Note
If a ticket does not fulfil the requirements, e.g. because the order has not yet been paid for, no check-in can be carried out; a corresponding status message is displayed.
Where can an event participant find the e-ticket?

Subsequent activation of the Print Ticket option in the event form does not subsequently send QR code attachments.
Determination via "Manual entry" is also possible.
By e-mail (e-mail template: "Event participant: registration confirmation")
A QR code is sent to an event participant as an attachment in the form of a PDF and PNG image file by email (Event participant: Registration confirmation) if the Print tickets option is activated in the event form.
My events
In addition, the ticket can be accessed with the QR code in PDF format in Campus Events > My profile > MY EVENTS. The prerequisite for this is a login with a user account.
In the case of guest orders, this is not possible as guests do not have an account. In this case, the ticket number must be found in the list of participants.
