What is master data?
Master data are reusable data records that are managed centrally and used in events, such as venues, categories, presenters or contact persons. They form the basis for creating and managing events and can be reused in various areas of the system. If a master data record is updated, the change automatically affects all events that use that record.

- Event details: Additional details and properties for events
- Event lists: Configuration of lists for event management
- Venue details: Reusable venues and address details
- Event categories: Categories for classifying events by theme
- Attendee list templates: Templates for the output and design of attendee lists
- Certificates: Templates and settings for certificates
- Participant details: Additional data fields that can be recorded or requested for participants
- Digital signatures: Stored signatures for documents and certificates
- Target groups: Target groups for assigning and filtering events
- Grading categories: Categories for assessments or examination results
- Ticket categories: Categories for organising different ticket types
- Organisers: Centrally stored organisers and associated contact details
- Filter categories: Categories for filtering and searching for specific events
- Sponsors: Reusable information on sponsors
- Moderators: Individuals who can be assigned to moderate an event
- Contact persons: Centrally managed contact persons for events
Depending on the master data area, you can create new entries and view, edit or add to existing entries. Changes to master data may affect all events in which the relevant entry is used.
Which master data areas are displayed to you and which editing options are available depend on your system configuration and the authorisations assigned to you.
